In 2006, founder David Sklar and his young son Vail took a small fishing boat from Harbour Island across the crystal clear sea to the shores of an untouched paradise. It was love at first sight.
The idea of leaving a legacy of care for the environment to his son while creating a first-of-its-kind project inspired David.
Out of his passion and commitment to protect this Caribbean jewel grew the idea to create the world’s first sustainable island destination, with unparalleled guilt-free comfort.
At first, it seemed like an impossible dream. With the help of other like-minded individuals who brought their dedication and expertise into this project, the dream, against incredible odds, finally became a reality.
